I was born in Pennsylvania in 1937 and moved to Arizona in 1980. Prior to that I lived in Oregon where I found the LORD. I accepted Christ 40 years ago and have been doing my best to follow Christ and tell others about Christ. Christ leads my life in finances and wisdom, all from Him. I served in the Army at Fort Benning, Georgia from 1958 to 1962. I published the book "Lost in the Hell Hole" with my wife, Yvonne. I was married 50 years as of 7/24/13. I have served as an elder at Alliance Bible Church and serve in whatever capacity the LORD will have me. I have served on the Board of New Song Recovery Home since their formation in 2008.

I was a career alcoholic until the Lord brought me to New Song Recovery. I started drinking after my first divorce and continued for many years. I traded my alcohol addiction for a gambling addiction, all the while telling myself I was again in control. Of course this was a lie. I arrived in Prescott, Arizona on September 19, 2013 to reside at New Song.

I quickly realized, with the help of Pastors here and my mentor, that I needed to surrender all to the Lord. This was to include my gambling addition. I did indeed surrender all and found the Lord had many doors for me to go through. I was added to the staff of New Song in October of 2013 as the Assistant Manager. In November of the same year, I was offered and accepted the position of House Manager.

I knew I was called to ministry in the late 1980s, however; I was not willing to commit my life entirely to the Lord. After arriving here at New Song Recovery I started classes for a pastoral ordination. On September 2nd of 2014, I was ordained and began a ministry with New Song and Soldiers of Yeshua Ministries.

I thank my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ on a daily basis for His patience and the work He is doing in my life.

I am retired from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Dept. after 33 years of service in Law Enforcement. I have degrees in Political Science, Business Administration and I am an ordained minister. God opened incredible doors of ministry behind prison walls where my wife and I shared the hope & love of Jesus. God literally took me from ‘hooking and booking” to teaching and preaching in jail ministry for over 25 years. We have taught seminars on personality types and differences and marriage restoration. We have had the awesome experience of foreign missions to Africa, Nicaragua and Mexico. I was very involved as an instructor/trainer in Chrystal Meth awareness and prevention and in helping to launch the “Crystal Darkness Campaign” in the western United States and internationally.

After retirement, my wife Patty and I moved to Prescott Arizona 18 years ago. We have been married 36 yeas and enjoy RV’g, kayaking and the great outdoors. I love writing, teaching, giving hope and encouragement through the power of God’s Word.
